n behalf of the officers and members of the Chesapeake-Virginia Beach Alumnae Chapter, we would like to welcome you to our official website! As the 16th President of this phenomenal chapter of 200+ dedicated women, I am excited as we continue to provide programs and events that will strengthen the communities of Chesapeake and Virginia Beach.
Since the day of our charter on March 9, 1978, we remain committed to our sorority’s mission of providing public service within our communities and to the constructive development of our members.
We strived to improve the quality of life within those cities, by offering programs that focus on entrepreneurship, financial stewardship, educational development of our youth, physical and mental health across the lifespan, voter registration and voting rights.
In the spirit of our illustrious 22 Founders, we continue to follow their vision today with our National Five Programmatic Thrust:

- Political Awareness and Involvement
